26.2 Pre-Release 4 (known as 26.2-pre-4 in the launcher) is the fourth pre-release for Minecraft:Java Edition 26.2, released on June 4, 2026.<ref name=mcnet>Template:Mcnet</ref>

Mobs

Minecraft:Ender dragon

• No longer affected by Minecraft:geysers.

Minecraft:Sulfur cube

• Now affected by the Minecraft:Knockback enchantment while a block is absorbed.

Gameplay

Minecraft:Open to LAN

• Renamed back from "Multiplayer Options".
• The "Game Mode" and "Allow Commands" options are now under a "Settings for Other Players" header, and no longer affect the host of a world.

Minecraft:World Options

• The host of a world now has access to the "Game Mode" and "Allow Commands" buttons in the World Options screen.

Minecraft:Data pack

• The Minecraft:pack format version is now 107.1.

Minecraft:Debug screen

• The Template:Cd entry now includes the counts of different particle groups (Template:Cd for single quads, Template:Cd for no render, Template:Cd for elder guardians, and Template:Cd for item pickup) in addition to the total.

Minecraft:Particles

• When the game is overwhelmed with particles, instead of removing existing particles in flight, it will now randomly select for particles to render or not render to stay under the particle limit.
