Matt Forbeck is an American author, known for writing for several iconic franchises, such as Minecraft:Marvel, Minecraft:Halo, and Minecraft:Dungeons & Dragons, as well as designing tabletop role playing games.
In the Minecraft franchise
In 2020, Forbeck was assigned to write Template:MCD, a prequel novel to the game Template:MCD, explaining the origins of the game's Template:MCD.<ref>Template:Citation</ref> In 2023, he would return to write an opposing novel, Template:MCL. This book was a sequel of sorts to Template:MCL, treating the events as mere stories with ambiguous truth.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref> The focus was instead put on a conflict involving a zookeeper named Template:MCL and a fugitive Minecraft:piglin named Template:MCL.
