Minecraft:Wildfire

The wildfire, originally known as Mob D or the "Hovering Inferno", was a proposed Minecraft:mob featured in the Mob Vote during Minecraft:MINECON Earth 2017, alongside the Minecraft:barnacle, the Minecraft:phantom and the Minecraft:great hunger.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref>

It was a type of Minecraft:blaze with its body parts looking like Minecraft:shields in order to defend itself from attacks. This mob would spawn with groups of blazes randomly to attack the player in the Minecraft:Nether with a dangerous shock wave attack. Minecraft:Jens Bergensten argued that viewers should vote for Mob D because it would make the Nether "even more scary and exciting".<ref>Template:Tweet</ref>

The wildfire received 24% of the votes in the first round and moved onto the second,<ref>Template:Tweet</ref> losing with 28% of the votes.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref>
