The Xbox 1st Birthday Cape is a Minecraft:cape that was temporarily shown on all players to celebrate the first anniversary of Minecraft:Xbox 360 Edition.
Distribution
From May 9 to May 13, 2013, all players of the Minecraft:Xbox 360 Edition were shown with this cape (except for players who were using skins that have their own cape) to celebrate the 1st birthday of the Xbox 360 Edition of Minecraft.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref><ref>Template:Tweet</ref> A version of the cape does not exist in any other edition of Minecraft. This cape was not added to any accounts.
Xbox 360 avatar item
Template:Main Released on the same day, the cape was added as a prop for the players' Xbox 360 avatars. It was priced at Template:W1.00 on the Xbox 360 Marketplace, and worn similarly to a cape in-game.
