Acur, the dark dimension of Angst, was once home to Zek, a former god of death. Before his defeat during the God War at the hands of his brother Vol, Zek poured his power into a soul-catching chalice and hurled it into Acur, knowing that most other gods would be unable to perceive the entrance to the realm.
Towards the end of the God War, Ilth Hale found her way into Acur.
