Saltpeter is a very sought after ingredient, used in level 25+ Fire Magic Research. Saltpeter mines exist throughout Alharth, many worked by Goblin Clan slaves.

- Confirmed Mobs that Drop Saltpeter: Gnasher Matriarch (~2-3%)
Gathering
Saltpeter nodes can be mined at Level 30 Mining:
- Molybdenum Mine in Sun Vale
- Kur Mountains: Nodes often spawn around the Gaz-Urak
- Boarded up Basement: Nodes can be encountered in the deepest part of the cave.
