The 82nd Squadron (or Squadron 82) is a Starlifter unit of the StarCitizen:United Empire of Earth Navy. It was the first active-duty unit of its kind. In March 2824, it participated in an offensive against an outlaw supercell in the StarCitizen:Baker system. While the battle had been deemed a hazardous prospect, by deploying troops and an armoured column outlaw forces were overwhelmed with no loss of UEE personnel.<ref name=":0">In-game signage, Alpha 3.13.1</ref>
