Assan Kieren (* 2584; disappeared Nov 2639) was the StarCitizen:Senator of Terra until his disappearance and member of a separatistic anti-Messer movement.<ref name="robertsspaceindustries.com">Template:Cite RSI</ref><ref name=":0">Galactapedia: Assan Kieren (acc. 2020-05-20)</ref>

Career

Nothing is known about his early life. He became StarCitizen:Governor of Terra III in 2624 and served until 2635.<ref name=":0" /> He was made Senator of the System in 2635.

Kieren used his position to critize the StarCitizen:Messer regime for his xenophobia and decried 'the pro-military agenda of the StarCitizen:UEE and its unconditional support of the military-industrial complex.'<ref name="robertsspaceindustries.com" /> He faced a political smear campaign<ref name="ReferenceA">Template:Cite RSI</ref> with accusations 'from infidelity to drug addiction to corruption' soon afterwards.<ref name="robertsspaceindustries.com" />

After losing the StarCitizen:referendum for separation from the UEE, on 2638-04-05, he accused the UEE of voter fraud, but was forced to retreat from his mandate. The StarCitizen:Terra Gazette declared on 2638-11-04 that '[u]nnamed sources from within the government claim that Xi'an-funded terrorists had infiltrated various positions in government and Corp structures,' pointing out that Kieren 'might be implicated.'<ref name="robertsspaceindustries.com" />

Kieren disappeared in November 2939.<ref name=":0" /> There are unproven rumors that he was murdered.<ref name="ReferenceA" />
