Development

The Aztalan armor set is first teased without a name in Porfolio: Tehachapi in the volume 9 issue 4 of the Jump Point magazine.<ref name="jp0904">Template:Cite Jump Point</ref> It is first spotted in game files in Alpha 3.13.1.<ref name="datamine-3131">Datamined from Alpha 3.13.1</ref> In the next issue of Jump Point magazine after that, the armor set was featured on the last page, confirming it as the next StarCitizen:Subscriber flair.<ref>Template:Cite Jump Point</ref>

Introduced as a part of the Tehachapi Aztalan Tamarack Armor in the June 2951 Subscriber Promotions.<ref name="sub2951-06"/>
