History

CTR was formed around the end of the StarCitizen:29th century. It enjoyed a steady rise to prominence within the Xi'an Empire by providing fuel and repair services at affordable prices, eventually becoming one of the most trusted providers to the Xi'an civilian population.<ref name="new-united"/>

In February of StarCitizen:2944, the StarCitizen:UEE Senate granted Jysho Corporation a business certificate to open franchises in the UEE.<ref name="congress-now"/> On 2944-02-09, representatives of the Jysho Corporation came to the city of StarCitizen:Aydo on StarCitizen:Green to open the first CTR in the UEE, the first time a wholly Xi'an corporation had opened a business on a Human planet. CTR has since gradually gained market share in Human space.<ref name="new-united"/>

CTR locations follow the layout of Xi'an ship design, with a clean organic appearance and distinct spindles and ribs for different service options. The company hires Human customer service agents but often imports Xi'an technicians for installation work, which can create a language barrier for captains seeking to deal directly with those repairing their ships.<ref name="portfolio"/>

Trivia

  • In a study, researchers found a 23% improvement over Human companies in repair speed, with very little difference in quality.<ref name="portfolio"/>
  • Many Humans are familiar with CTR's energetic commercial jingle: "SEE TEE ARE! SEE TEE ARE! NAHH NAHH NOOOORB!" Meaningless in any language, including Xi'an, the song and its accompanying commercial have established CTR's presence in the mind of a younger generation that has fewer reservations about equipping their ship through an alien company.<ref name="portfolio"/>
