StarCitizen:Constellation Mk IV Taurus

The Constellation Taurus is the freighter variant of the large multi-crew StarCitizen:Constellation series manufactured by StarCitizen:Roberts Space Industries (RSI). It trades the side missile racks and the snub fighter for additional cargo space, a cargo release system for quick unloading, and a security hold reinforced with tech plating.<ref name="game3140">Template:Cite game</ref><ref name="galactapedia">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

Development

2021-08-06	Alpha 3.14 : Implementing and balancing RSI's hauling variant of the Constellation, the Taurus, as a flight ready ship in the game.
2026-10-09	The entire Constellation series was given a gold pass in Alpha 4.10.2, coincident with StarCitizen:RSI Discovery Month. Along with being formally renamed to "Mk. IV" several changes were made, including physicalized components and revised window geometry<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>.
