Cases involving E'tam in Corel have increased recently. Most involve people so engrossed in a task that they neglect to eat, sleep or take care of other basic bodily functions, thus prompting a call to authorities from a friend or relative in an effort to get that person help.<ref name="advocacy-archive"/>
