On your ninth visit to StarCitizen:ICC Probe 849, StarCitizen:Tessa Bannister informs the player of a strange signal near StarCitizen:Yela that can't be identified.

Quantum Drive to ICC Probe 849.
New Objective: Locate Wreckage
Quantum Drive to Yela.
Fly towards the two friendly radar contacts.
New Objective: Retrieve the Blackbox (1)
New Objective: Retrieve the Blackbox (2)
The contacts turn out to two derelict StarCitizen:Starfarers. The player must board each in EVA to retrieve their blackboxes from the Captain's quarters. Several datapads can also be found onboard, detailing some of the events leading up to the incident.
Downloading each black box provides the player with the Emergency Flight Data for that ship.

Mission Complete: ICC Assistance
Although this is the end of the mission, there are several datapads strewn through the wreckage of the two ships that give a clearer picture of what actually happened to the two Starfarers.
