StarCitizen:M-type giant

An M-type giant is a red giant of StarCitizen:spectral type M: a star that has left the main sequence, swelled to many times its former radius and cooled to a surface temperature below about 3,700 K, which gives it its red colour. Despite the low temperature the sheer surface area makes it far more luminous than the star it grew from.
