They have lived beside the StarCitizen:Xi'an since the advent of farming, and serve as a popular means of pest control.<ref name=":0">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

Ngii are typically allowed to roam free in the homes of their companions, sleeping on perches which are meant to mimic the low tree branches native to their home.<ref name=":0" /> While not a particularly intelligent creature, the are fierce companions, watching over their caretakers all day.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>
