She joined CIG in October 2018 as QA tester, climbing the echelons over time.<ref>Samantha Haley, linkedin</ref>
She was the pilot of the StarCitizen:Carrack in the 2019 CitizenCon demo, flying through the first StarCitizen:jump point to Pyro, and is the voice of the ASOP terminal.<ref name=":0" />
With her role in QA, she got more flight hours in the Hornet than almost anyone at CIG, which is why she ended up presenting the model of the StarCitizen:Anvil F7A Hornet Mk II DA-2965-WB at StarCitizen:CitizenCon 2024.<ref name=":0" />
She left CIG in March 2025.<ref name=":1" />
