StarCitizen:UEES Countenance

The UEES Countenance was a carrier-type vessel of [[StarCitizen::Category:UEEN vessels of unknown class|unknown class]] that served the StarCitizen:United Empire of Earth Navy during the StarCitizen:Second Tevarin War. During the StarCitizen:Battle for Centauri it was one of the carriers left to guard the StarCitizen:Centauri - Elysium StarCitizen:jump point while other forces defended the population centres on StarCitizen:Saisei and StarCitizen:Yar. The attacks on the planets were cunning distractions, and the StarCitizen:Tevarin leader StarCitizen:Corath'Thal had intended to draw forces away from the jump point.

With his obstacles diminished, Corath'Thal ordered his fleet to attack the jump point. Pushing the UEE carriers back, the fleet broke formation in order to jump to the StarCitizen:Elysium system and their ultimate objective of the Tevarin homeworld, StarCitizen:Jalan. It was at this point that the Countenance's combat squadron, StarCitizen:Squadron 42 attacked, exploiting the weakened Tevarin defences to knock out the enemy shields and permit the carrier group to renew their attack in earnest.

This action had been planned by StarCitizen:Captain StarCitizen:Alexandra Dunlevy, and authorised by StarCitizen:Admiral StarCitizen:Fraser, and while Corath'Thal was able to escape with some ships, the action severely broke the Tevarin invasion's strength, leading to their eventual defeat. The event cemented Captain Dunlevy's legacy, and put Squadron 42 on a path to empire-wide renown.<ref>Template:Cite RSI</ref>
