StarCitizen:Virgil Ltd

Virgil Limited, also styled Virgil Ltd or simply Virgil, is a StarCitizen:human multidisciplinary manufacturer of combat armor, specialized industrial armor, and powered armor. Headquartered on StarCitizen:Aremis (Vega II), the company has a reputation for producing durable, high-quality gear. Its products are frequently issued as official uniforms by numerous organizations, including much of the armor worn by Advocacy agents. The Zeus System Titan armor and the StarCitizen:TrueDef-Pro combat armor are among its bestselling models.<ref name="galactapedia">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

History

Virgil was founded by StarCitizen:Cedra Selea, at the age of nineteen, in StarCitizen:2749, after she and several other refugees displaced from the StarCitizen:Virgil system pooled their resources to form a new company. Their stated goal was to prepare Humanity to fight the StarCitizen:Vanduul.<ref name=":0">Template:Cite Jump Point</ref>

Within a few years of its formation, the company secured a military contract with the UEE that allowed it to continue scaling its operations. Having proven to be a reliable supplier, Virgil was later commissioned by the UEE to develop a standard set of armor for the Advocacy, the TrueDef armor line.<ref name=":0" />

In October StarCitizen:2945, during the Vanduul invasion of the Vega System, all of Virgil's senior leadership was killed. The loss served as a rallying point for the company, which is now led by StarCitizen:Vash Derrin.<ref name=":0" />
