StarCitizen:Void
More actions
The StarCitizen:Vanduul Void (UEE designation) is a heavy bomber that is able to launch a number of missiles, torpedoes and boarding crafts towards the target. While it carries a wide range of heavy armament, it is agile enough to avoid station turrets. It was first identified in StarCitizen:2945 when two Void bombers attacked a fuel depot near StarCitizen:Oberon VI in the StarCitizen:Oberon System.<ref name="ReferenceA">Template:Cite RSI</ref>

Lore
On 2945-06-11 at 02:36 SET, two Vanduul Bombers (later designated as "Void" by StarCitizen:UEE) entered within range of the proximity sensors of the civilian refueling station "StarCitizen:Diamond Jim's Fuelporium" located within the StarCitizen:Oberon system near the planet StarCitizen:Oberon VI. After detecting the presence of these hostile Void Bombers, owner of the station initiated emergency procedures which triggered a distress call. Though the station was armed with turrets, the Vanduul Bombers were able to maneuver past the station's defenses and released a devastating mixture of missiles and boarding craft. No ships or escape pods were able to launch from the refueling station before it was overwhelmed. All 56 aboard were killed and the station destroyed before the StarCitizen:341st Squadron of the StarCitizen:UEE Navy could arrive.<ref name="ReferenceA"/>
