Template:Documentation header Template:Distinguish This template is intended for pages covering discontinued games, apps, and editions (not their feature pages). It inserts a note saying that the following edition has been discontinued.

Pages using this template are added to Category:Discontinued.

Usage

{{Discontinued|1?|app?|game?|section?|buyable?|playable?|replaced?|reason?|nocat?}}

• The Template:Cd parameter replaces the default message. Use this when a more specific message is needed.
• The app parameter changes the "edition" word to "app".
• The game parameter changes the "edition" word to "game".
• The section parameter changes the template to a section style.
• The Template:Cd parameter specifies the game can still be bought/downloaded.
• The Template:Cd parameter specifies the game can still be played if owned. Only used if Template:Cd is not defined.
• The Template:Cd parameter specifies what other game/edition replaced the game/edition. Text assiagned to this parameter will be inlined in the Template:Tl template.
• The Template:Cd parameter specifies why the game was discontinued.
• The nocat parameter prevents adding the page to Category:Discontinued. This should normally only be used in examples.
