Template:MC/Reference page

Template:Documentation header This template is used for citing page numbers or source locations of a reference, usually in a form of book or video recording.

Usage

This template is used when referring to a statement or fact on specific pages.

Example 1

Parameters

• page= (p=) – refer to a singular page.
• pages= (pp=) – refer to multiple pages. Usually, it is represented like <p1>–<p2>, for an example, 10–20 for page 10 to 20.
• location= (at=, loc=) – refer to some kind of location in the source.
• quotation= (q=) – place a quotation from the source using {{Tooltip}}.
  • Depending on the parameter, the first line could result in Page: , Pages: , or Location: .

This template is a basic recreation from Wikipedia's Template:W, as a result, some behaviors or features may not fully match its original counterpart or have not been ported yet.
