A diamond shovel is a variant of Minecraft:shovel that is crafted from Minecraft:diamonds. It is used to break Minecraft:dirt, Minecraft:sand, Minecraft:gravel and other related blocks faster, to create Minecraft:dirt paths from dirt-related blocks, and to extinguish Minecraft:campfires. It is the second-highest Minecraft:tier of shovel, having higher Minecraft:mining efficiency, attack damage, and durability than an Minecraft:iron shovel. It can be upgraded into a Minecraft:netherite shovel using a Minecraft:netherite ingot and Minecraft:netherite upgrade at a Minecraft:smithing table.
