Members

The "Members" tab in Realms Stories

Shows a list of all Realm members and their activity or online status, as well as invited players. The list can be filtered for Realm roles, and all players can view the permissions for each member. The Realm owner can also change the Realm roles and grant administrator permissions.

The owner and administrators can manage members from the here, including removing or banning them, or invite new players, manage invite links, or Minecraft:player permissions. The latter three are only available from the "Manage Realm" screen.

In Realms Stories in-game, this does not show invited members or Realm roles, but still allows access to the Manage Realm screen for administrators.

Admin log

The Admin log in the Realms Hub is accessible for administrators from the "Community" tab. Here, recent changes performed by administrators are logged. Each entry shows the date and time and administrator, as well as the specific action. This includes changes to server settings, changes to activated add-ons, and major changes to worlds on the Realm.

Timeline

Realm Stories also contain a Timeline table that shows numerous activity of players in the Realm. The playing times are colored for each player. One week of playing times is shown on the screen, but older data can be viewed with the arrow buttons above. To gain access to the Timeline and store activity data, a player needs to opt in for the Timeline. Players can opt out at any time, and they can also opt in anytime later again. Administrators can view all members that are opted out.

There are a few options available for Realms Stories. These cannot be changed from the main Minecraft:settings screen. Only administrators can change the Realm-wide settings, other players can only view these.

Trivia

  • Realms Stories were inaccessible the first time launching Preview 1.20.60.23. They were accessible upon relaunch.
  • Realm Events are hard-coded in Minecraft:Bedrock Dedicated Server and also functional in external servers outside of Realms, however, Realms Stories is not accessible.
