Minecraft:Pale Garden

Template:Infobox biome Template:Relevant tutorial A pale garden is a rare variant of the Minecraft:dark forest biome with Minecraft:pale oaks and many pale vegetation blocks. Minecraft:Creaking hearts that spawn Minecraft:creakings at night can often be found here.

Generation

Pale gardens generate adjacent to dark forests in areas of high Minecraft:continentalness and low erosion. They are always found on plateaus or Minecraft:mountain slopes from areas with medium temperature and the highest humidity.

Besides dark forests, pale gardens commonly border Minecraft:meadow and Minecraft:grove biomes, and uncommonly Minecraft:old growth pine taigas, Minecraft:forests, Minecraft:birch forests, Minecraft:jungles, Minecraft:frozen peaks, and Minecraft:jagged peaks. Because they can border meadows, Minecraft:villages sometimes touch pale gardens, unlike regular dark forests.

Because pale gardens generate near mountains and plateaus, they are likely to generate the deep dark underneath.

Description

They mainly consist of Minecraft:pale oak trees, along with Minecraft:pale moss patches made of Minecraft:pale moss blocks and Minecraft:pale moss carpets, and scattered Minecraft:eyeblossoms. Minecraft:Pale hanging moss can be found hanging off the trees. Some of the pale oak trees contain a Minecraft:creaking heart block, which spawns a Minecraft:creaking when activated at night. Minecraft:Woodland mansions can generate in pale gardens. The Minecraft:water, sky, and blocks of the biome are desaturated.

With Minecraft:Vibrant Visuals, the pale garden has an extremely dense pale Minecraft:fog that blocks all skylight and limits the view to only a few chunks. Sunlight is much less bright and colored gray, as well as moonlight. Pale gardens use coolish color grading, which tints the environment colder blue.

The biome is said to be the only remnant of a world lost to time, with the tallness of the tress and the pale hanging moss combining to create a sense of an untamed wilderness.

Ambient Minecraft:music does not play in pale gardens. If a music track is playing while the player enters the biome, it fades into silence. The music resumes when the player exits the biome.

Mobs

Minecraft:Creakings are found in this biome only at night, but their spawning is controlled by Minecraft:creaking hearts, not the biome. Since naturally generated pale oaks only have a 20% chance to include a creaking heart, it is possible to find small pale gardens with no creaking hearts.

Regular passive mobs do not naturally spawn in the pale garden,<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref> but normal hostile mobs can spawn here, sometimes even during the day because of the thick foliage.<ref>Template:Ytl</ref>
