Template:Infobox version Preview 26.60.22 (Windows, iOS, iPadOS, Xbox, PlayStation) or beta 26.60.23 (ChromeOS, Android) is the second beta/Preview for Minecraft:Bedrock Edition 26.60, released on September 6, 2026, for iOS and iPadOS, and on September 8, 2026, for all remaining devices,<ref>Template:Cite</ref> which fixes bugs.
Changes
Blocks
Minecraft:Brown mushroom and Minecraft:red mushroom
- Can now be placed on any block with a top solid face regardless of lighting conditions.
- They still cannot spread unless the brightness at the new growth is less than 13, or its support block overrides light requirements, like Minecraft:mycelium.
- Can no longer be placed on blocks occupied by an entity.
- Trapdoors now have snappable placement: holding the place block control while a trapdoor is selected will only place trapdoors in a fixed direction until the control is released.
- Snappable placement de-activates interaction with blocks until the placement interaction is completed.
General
- The size of the active world is now shown on the Realms Hub "Worlds" tab.
- Realm world settings no longer remain stuck saving when the connection is interrupted.
- Minecraft:Hardcore worlds and active worlds are now identified correctly in Realm world slots.
UI
- Improved the alignment and line wrapping of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean text in chat, books, and Minecraft:signs.
- Large worlds can now be duplicated on Nintendo Switch when sufficient storage is available.
- Updated how received party invites are shown and interacted with in the social drawer.
Technical
AI goals
- Made schemas for the following components stricter when parsing and will fail to load an entity json that has invalid data in versions 1.26.60 and newer:
- Changed Template:Cd to not stop and to instead start every tick when the Minecraft:mob is stuck.
- Updated the warning that suggests trying NetherNet to instead be an error when users are not using NetherNet, as RakNet is deprecated.
Entity components
- Bred Minecraft:sheep now expose the Template:Cd entity component.
- Made schemas for the following components stricter when parsing and will fail to load an entity json that has invalid data in versions 1.26.60 and newer:
- Template:Cd
- Template:Cd
- Template:Cd
- Template:Cd
- Template:Cd now only accepts a scalar or an object with Template:Cd and Template:Cd values. Array values are no longer valid.
- Template:Cd
- Template:Cd, Template:Cd, and Template:Cd fields under delay now reject negative values.
- Template:Cd and Template:Cd fields under delay now take floats in the range Template:Cd to Template:Cd.
- Template:Cd no longer accepts a bare number shorthand in versions 1.26.60 and newer; use the object form Template:Cd instead.
- Template:Cd and Template:Cd no longer accept a single string shorthand in versions 1.26.60 and newer; use an array of sound names instead.
Mobs
- Many mob properties are no longer saved if their values are the default.
