Script error: No such module "Top icons". The First Age is one of the ages of Dragonwilds:Gielinor. It was followed by the Dragonwilds:Second Age.
Events
Like the rest of Gielinor, Dragonwilds:Ashenfall was first discovered by Dragonwilds:Guthix during the First Age. He brought over Guthixian settlers to the continent, and it was here he discovered Dragonwilds:Runecrafting with the help of the Stone of Jas, sharing the knowledge and magic with the settlers.
Wild Knights
Guthix founded the Dragonwilds:Wild Knights during the First Age, tasking them with both protecting humans from nature, and nature from humans.
Schism
Script error: No such module "Main article". Over time, due to exposure to Dragonwilds:Wild Anima, the inhabitants of Ashenfall started to become (or were born) Dragonwilds:Amalgamated. These Amalgamated people would experience prejudice, due to being believed to be unnatural. This culminated in a schism where the Amalgamated were actively hunted down. The Wild Knights would try to protect them the best they can, but it only ended when Guthix returned to the continent.Script error: No such module "References".
Departure
After seeing how the Amalgamated were being treated, Guthix was disgusted. He took his most loyal followers and returned back to the mainland. As he left, he placed a veil over the continent to try and prevent anyone else from finding the continent. This veil had multiple properties, obscuring the continent to some extent, but also causing those who left Ashenfall to forget about it. The veil also created a sort of magical greenhouse effect, which also trapped pollutants and particulates created during a cataclysmic event, tainting the water of the region.
New inhabitants
Either during the First Age or the Dragonwilds:Second Age, a group of Dragonkin known as the Dragonwilds:Cabal discovered the continent, and started constructing Dragonwilds:Vaults. Also during the same time period, the goddess Dragonwilds:Lougrim arrived on Ashenfall, bringing with her the Garou from their home world of Dragonwilds:Antumnos.
