Template:Infobox block Mossy cobblestone is a variant of Minecraft:cobblestone with moss on it. It is mainly used for Minecraft:crafting or as building block.

Obtaining

Breaking

Mossy cobblestone can be mined using a Minecraft:pickaxe, in which case it drops itself. If mined without a pickaxe, it drops nothing. Template:Breaking row

Natural generation

Mossy cobblestone occurs naturally in Minecraft:monster rooms, Minecraft:jungle pyramids, Minecraft:pillager outposts, cold Minecraft:ocean ruins, and Minecraft:plains and Minecraft:taiga Minecraft:villages (as well as zombie villages). It can also be found in the form of Minecraft:forest rocks in the Minecraft:old growth pine taiga and Minecraft:old growth spruce taiga biomes, and around zombie or baby zombie Minecraft:trial spawners in Minecraft:trial chambers.

Note blocks

Mossy cobblestone can be placed under Minecraft:note blocks to produce "bass drum" sounds.

Sulfur cube

Template:In development Minecraft:Sulfur cubes have the ability to absorb mossy cobblestone, either through picking it up or being interacted with it. This provides the regular/football effect to the mob when hitting it.
