Template:Infobox block A copper chest is a type of Minecraft:chest made of copper. It functions almost identically to a normal wooden chest, except that it oxidizes over time, and copper golems will take items out of it and attempt to store them inside nearby wooden chests.
Like normal chests, two copper chests can merge into a large copper chest if placed next to each other.

As the block begins to oxidize (exposed), it gets discolored and green spots begin to appear. As the oxidation continues (weathered), the block is a green color with brown spots. In the last stage (oxidized), the block is teal with several green spots.
