Minecraft:Birch Forest

A birch forest is a lush Minecraft:biome filled with Minecraft:birch trees and Minecraft:wildflowers that usually generates near other woodland biomes.

Generation

Birch forest biomes are slightly rarer than regular Minecraft:forest biomes. They generate in medium temperature, between regular forests and Minecraft:dark forests in terms of humidity. They can also border Minecraft:jungles and Minecraft:taigas, as well as oceans or temperate Minecraft:mountains.

Regular birch forests are most commonly separated from Minecraft:old growth birch forests by rivers. Minecraft:Lush caves may generate under birch forests because of its slightly high humidity, unless the birch forest is far from the ocean.

Description

Birch forests feature Minecraft:birch trees across the landscape that generate as densely as trees in regular forests. Unlike regular forest biomes, Minecraft:oak trees and Minecraft:wolves do not spawn here.

Between the birches, scattered Minecraft:bushes, Minecraft:rose bushes, Minecraft:lilacs, Minecraft:peonies, and Minecraft:lilies of the valley can be found, while Minecraft:wildflowers commonly cover the ground in patches. Minecraft:Bee nests housing 2–3 bees spawn on 0.2%Template:Only or 0.035%Template:Only of birches.
