Blacksmiths everywhere favour iron as a material to forge with. It is strong, durable and malleable when hot, and yet rigid when cool. It has been used to create weapons and unbreakable containers. Yet, it is most popular when turned into protection for those forced to ride into battle.
From the outset, the search for iron ignited a fierce conflict between the humans and the garou. Each incursion escalated the tension, pushing both sides perilously close to the brink of war. However, the situation reached a critical juncture when Dragonwilds:Bandos dispatched an emissary to the villagers of Dragonwilds:Brynmoor, offering a solution to their Garou predicament.
The Dragonwilds:Saradominist priests met with emissaries of Bandos and came to an alliance. The humans would claim the mines of Dragonwilds:Ghornfell, as long as Bandos could claim the head of the garou goddess, Dragonwilds:Lougrim. A win-win, as far as the priests were concerned.
