Template:Infobox block Wood or hyphae is a Minecraft:block that has the Minecraft:log's "bark" texture on all six sides. It comes in 11 types: Minecraft:oak, Minecraft:spruce, Minecraft:birch, jungle, Minecraft:acacia, Minecraft:dark oak, Minecraft:mangrove, Minecraft:cherry, crimson, warped, and Minecraft:pale oak.

Breaking
Wood and hyphae can be broken by hand, but using an Minecraft:axe is the fastest. Template:Breaking row
Natural generation
Acacia wood can generate in Minecraft:savanna Minecraft:villages.
Spruce wood can generate in Minecraft:snowy taiga and Minecraft:taiga villages.
Mangrove wood can generate in some entrance rooms of Minecraft:trial chambers.
Crafting
Wood or hyphae can be crafted out of four matching logs or stems, yielding three wood or hyphae as a result. Template:Crafting
Usage
Wood and hyphae can be placed in three orientations, similarly to normal Minecraft:logs.

Fuel
Wood can be used as a Minecraft:fuel in Minecraft:furnaces, smelting 1.5 items per block.
Hyphae cannot be used as a fuel in furnaces.
Axes
Template:Control an Minecraft:axe on wood or hyphae turns it into Minecraft:stripped wood or hyphae, which acts the same as regular wood or hyphae.
Cocoa beans
Minecraft:Cocoa beans can be placed on the side of jungle wood to grow new cocoa pods.
Note blocks
Wood and hyphae can be placed under Minecraft:note blocks to produce "bass" sounds.
Sulfur cube
Template:In development Minecraft:Sulfur cubes have the ability to absorb wood, either through picking it up or being interacted with it. This provides the rubber ball/bouncy effect to the mob when hitting it.
