Armored Paws is a Minecraft:game drop released on April 23, 2024, as Minecraft:Java Edition 1.20.5 and Minecraft:Bedrock Edition 1.20.80.<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref> It focuses on adding content voted for during Minecraft:Minecraft Live 2023 by adding Minecraft:armadillos, Minecraft:wolf armor, and 8 new biome variants of Minecraft:wolves.

- Obtained as an occasional drop from Minecraft:armadillos, or from using a Minecraft:brush on an armadillo.
Template:InvSprite Minecraft:Armadillo spawn egg
- Used to spawn an Minecraft:armadillo.
Template:InvSpriteFile:Wolf Armor (model) JE2 BE2.png Minecraft:Wolf armor
- Crafted using six Minecraft:armadillo scutes shaped like a lowercase h.
- Using it on wolves grants them immunity from most damage sources.
- Gradually breaks with each attack.
- Can be repaired using armadillo scutes.
- Can also be removed by using Minecraft:shears.
- Like leather armor and leather horse armor, wolf armor can be dyed.
Mobs

- A Minecraft:passive Minecraft:mob that spawns in Minecraft:badlands and Minecraft:savanna biomes.
- File:Armadillo Armor JE2 BE2.png Rolls up when hurt or scared by Minecraft:undead mobs or by players sprinting, mounted, or on a vehicle.
- Reduces physical damage in that state.
- File:Armadillo Peek JE1 BE1.gif Occasionally peeks out from its shell to see if a threat is still near.
- Will roll up to detect a mob or player that has attacked it recently.
- Cannot roll up when it's in a minecart, boat, leashed or in water.
- Occasionally drops an Minecraft:armadillo scute every 5 to 10 minutes.
- Can also use a brush to drop an armadillo scute, using its durability.
- Can be bred with Minecraft:spider eyes.
