Template:Infobox biome A savanna plateauTemplate:Fn is a variant of the Minecraft:savanna biome that replaces it at higher elevations and near Minecraft:mountains. The biome features Minecraft:spotted wolves unlike the regular savanna, and lacks villages and pillager outposts.
Generation
A savanna plateau is found when a Minecraft:savanna generates on top of a plateau or beneath Minecraft:stony peaks. Due to its low erosion value, the Minecraft:deep dark can generate underneath this biome, and Minecraft:dripstone caves are common.
Savanna plateaus never generate close to Minecraft:windswept savannas or Minecraft:mangrove swamps.
Description
Terrain in the savanna plateau appears identical to the regular savanna, sharing its grassy landscape covered with Minecraft:acacia trees, small Minecraft:oak trees and more Minecraft:tall grass, as well as its arid climate, which prevents proper Minecraft:rainfall from happening within the biome, and tints grass and leaves brown. A distinguishing feature of this biome compared to regular savannas is the absence of Minecraft:villages and Minecraft:pillager outposts.<ref>Template:Bug</ref>
The same warm mobs spawn in savanna plateaus, plus the unique Minecraft:spotted wolves. Minecraft:Llamas also spawn here, where they do not spawn in regular savannas Template:In.<ref>Template:Bug</ref>
With Minecraft:Vibrant Visuals, savanna plateaus use warmish color grading that tints the environment more orange/yellow. The night sky is slightly brighter and moonlight appears more vibrant blue.
