A copper golem statue is the result of a Minecraft:copper golem fully Minecraft:oxidizing and petrifying into a Minecraft:block. It can be Template:Control in four different ways, or it can be reanimated by Template:Control with an Minecraft:axe enough times.
Obtaining
Breaking
Copper golem statues can be broken by hand, but using a Minecraft:pickaxe is the fastest. A copper golem statue retains its pose when broken.
Post-generation
Once fully oxidized, a Minecraft:copper golem has a 0.58% chance per Minecraft:tick to become a copper golem statue and take a random pose, provided it is not Minecraft:waxed and is fully located in Minecraft:air (that is, a copper golem cannot turn into a statue while underwater or standing on a partial block such as a Minecraft:slab, as part of its hitbox is not located within an air block). This process takes on average 8.62 seconds. During the transformation, any items held by the copper golem are dropped.
Usage
Posing
Template:Control with a copper golem statue changes its pose, cycling through four poses: standing, sitting, running, and star. Template:IN, the player's hand must be empty in order to cycle through poses.
-
Default, standing pose
-
Sitting pose
-

Star pose
Oxidation
Unwaxed copper golem statues have four stages of oxidation, including the initial normal state. Minecraft:Lightning bolts and Minecraft:axes can remove the oxidation on copper golems statues. Using a Minecraft:honeycomb on a copper golem statue prevents it from oxidizing.
As the block begins to oxidize (exposed), it gets discolored and green spots begin to appear. As the oxidation continues (weathered), the block is a green color with brown spots. In the last stage (oxidized), the block is teal with several green spots.
Reanimation
Using an axe on an unoxidized unwaxed copper golem statue reanimates it into an unoxidized unwaxed Minecraft:copper golem.
Piston interactivity
Copper golem statues break when pushed by Minecraft:pistons, cannot be pulled by them and they don't stick to Minecraft:slime blocks or Minecraft:honey blocks.
Redstone component
A Minecraft:redstone comparator can read the state of a copper golem statue and emit a signal strength based on its pose.

Trivia
- "Waxed Weathered Copper Golem Statue" is the longest name of a block currently in Template:JE, at 35 characters including spaces and 31 without, surpassing the previously tied record holders of Minecraft:polished blackstone pressure plate and Minecraft:cracked polished blackstone bricks by a single space.
- The longest block names Template:In are "Minecraft:Hardened Light Blue Stained Glass Pane" and "Minecraft:Hardened Light Gray Stained Glass Pane", both having 38 characters including spaces and 33 without. However, these blocks are only available when enabling the "Minecraft Education features" cheat setting when outside of Template:Edu.
- The all-time record Template:In is currently held by "Minecraft:Waxed Lightly Weathered Cut Copper Stairs", at 41 characters including spaces and 36 without, though the block has been renamed since.
- There was a block in April Fools' snapshot 24w14potato with a longer block name, "Minecraft:Quadruple Compressed Poisonous Potato Block", at 43 characters including spaces and 39 without.
- The longest name of any item Template:In is "Minecraft:Lingering Potion of the Turtle Master", sitting at 37 characters including spaces and 32 without.
