Minecraft:Teleportation

Teleportation is a form of Minecraft:transportation in which the moving object is instantaneously moved to its target location.

Overview

Teleportation can occur under numerous circumstances. The target object appears to instantly be at its destination afterward, usually<ref>Template:Bug</ref> playing a sound in the process (cases, where they do not, are not accidental). It can also refer to entities traveling through Minecraft:portals.

Player teleportation

Throwing an Minecraft:ender pearl.
Eating a Minecraft:chorus fruit.
Using the Template:Command command.
Passing through a Minecraft:nether portal, Minecraft:end portal, Minecraft:exit portal or Minecraft:end gateway.
Entering a Minecraft:bed.
Mounting a Minecraft:horse, Minecraft:mule, Minecraft:donkey, Minecraft:llama, Minecraft:camel, saddled Minecraft:pig or saddled Minecraft:strider.
Entering a Minecraft:boat or Minecraft:minecart.
Dying and Minecraft:respawning.
Quitting and re-logging the game while above the Minecraft:Nether roof.Template:Only

Other mobs

Other mobs can teleport via other methods:

Tamed Minecraft:wolves, Minecraft:cats, and Minecraft:parrots teleport to their owner if not Minecraft:sitting and their owner is far enough away.
Minecraft:Endermen teleport under numerous circumstances.
Minecraft:Shulkers are also capable of teleportation.
As with players, Minecraft:foxes can teleport upon consumption of chorus fruit.
Other entities can also be teleported using Template:Command.
They can be teleported by passing through a Minecraft:nether portal, Minecraft:end portal, Minecraft:exit portal or Minecraft:end gateway.
