Minecraft:Menu screen

Template:StubTemplate:Relevant tutorial Minecraft:Minecraft features a multitude of menu screens, which allow the player to navigate to worlds and servers, and change how the game looks.

Description

Template:Wip Menu screens are used to navigate through the UI. They can be accessed by pressing buttons or by other means, such as pausing the game.

Music

Background Minecraft:music plays while the player is in the main menus from a special music pool containing tracks from the latest music update, and some permanent menu screen tracks. While in a menu during gameplay and not while the game is paused,Template:Only the regular gameplay music and other Minecraft:sounds continue.

Template:IN, main menu music stops playing as soon as the Minecraft:loading world screen gets opened. Template:IN, it continues playing and fades out when the player spawns in the world.

List of menu screens

• Minecraft:Title Screen – the menu shown upon game startup allowing for access to worlds.
• Minecraft:Server list – a menu which allows players to join and save the Minecraft:servers they visit.
• Minecraft:Game Menu – a menu accessible during gameplay which allows players to quit to title or disconnect from a server, access options, enable Minecraft:LAN – and etc.
• Minecraft:Select WorldTemplate:Only – allowing one of multiple worlds to be accessed.

  • Minecraft:Create New World – a menu allowing for the configuration of multiple aspects for a new world.

  • Minecraft:World OptionsTemplate:Only – a menu to manage the world settings and management.
  • Minecraft:Edit worldTemplate:Only – a menu to manage the world settings.
• Minecraft:OptionsTemplate:Only – which are configurable via a series of menus in Template:JE.
• Minecraft:SettingsTemplate:Only – which are configurable via a series of menus in Template:BE.
• Minecraft:Controls – a subset of options, also given a dedicated menu.
  • Minecraft:Super Secret Settings – which applies in-game Minecraft:shaders, removed after Minecraft:Java Edition 1.9.
• Minecraft:How to PlayTemplate:Only – a menu which shows built-in guides designed to help new players to Minecraft.
• Minecraft:Loading world screen – the menu shown while entering or leaving a world.
• Minecraft:Realms Hub – a social hub for members of a Realm in Minecraft:Bedrock Edition.
• Minecraft:Chat<ref group="note">This is a menu screen only Template:In. Template:IN, the chat is part of the Minecraft:UI.</ref> – a messaging system to communicate with players and execute Minecraft:commands.
