This guide is a simplified overview of all the changes in the Minecraft:Texture Update (Template:BE 1.10.x releases), which assumes at least some familiarity with Bedrock Edition 1.9.0.

Mobs

New

Minecraft:Cat	File:Jellie Cat.png	Added a new variant: Jellie, the community cat contest winner.	Template:Drop
Minecraft:Illager beast	File:Ravager.png	N/A	Template:Drop	Illager beasts currently only have the basic AI.
Minecraft:Wandering trader	File:Wandering Trader.png	Appears at a Minecraft:village's gathering site periodically and stays for a period of 2–3 in-game days (40–60 minutes of real-life time).		Wandering traders are accompanied by two custom llamas. Wandering traders are available through Experimental Gameplay.

Changed

Minecraft:Creeper	File:Creeper JE3 BE1.png	Now have a chance to drop a Minecraft:music disc when killed by a Minecraft:stray, as well as a Minecraft:skeleton.
Minecraft:Pillager	File:Pillager BE1.png	Are no longer only available through Experimental Gameplay. Added new sounds.
Minecraft:Villager	File:Plains Villager Base JE2.png	Have been split into two mobs: New villagers spawn in new villages. Available through Experimental Gameplay. Old villagers still spawn in igloo basements.

Minecraft:Campfire	Template:Animate		Silk touch, axe breaks fastest.	Campfires have no functionality. Campfires are available through Experimental Gameplay.

Minecraft:Lectern	File:Lectern.png	Lecterns generate naturally as part of libraries in villages.	Lecterns can be broken with any tool as well as by hand, with axes being the fastest tool to use.	Placing a book and quill or written book on the lectern allows multiple players to read it together. A book and quill can be read, but not edited when placed on a lectern.
Minecraft:Loom	File:Loom JE1 BE1.png		Looms can be broken with any tool as well as by hand, with axes being the fastest tool to use.	Looms are used to easily make patterns for banners.
Minecraft:Stonecutter	File:Stonecutter.gif	Available through Experimental Gameplay.	Stonecutters can be mined with any pickaxe.	Stone cutters have no functionality.
Minecraft:Sweet berry bushes	Template:Animate	Sweet berry bushes can be found naturally in all taiga variants. Sweet berry bushes can be planted with Minecraft:sweet berries.	Sweet berry bushes can be broken with any tool as well as by hand.	Sweet berry bushes drop sweet berries by Template:Control or when broken, dropping 1-2 berries at age three, and 2-3 berries at age four. Sweet berry bushes slow players while standing in them at age one, as well as deal damage to players while moving at age two and above. Standing still while in sweet berry bushes will deal no damage.

Minecraft:Banner pattern	File:Banner Pattern JE1 BE1.png		Banner patterns can be used in a Minecraft:loom to apply the chosen pattern to that banner. The globe banner pattern cannot be crafted, and is only obtainable from master-level cartographer villagers.
Minecraft:Black dye	File:Black Dye JE1 BE1.png		Black dye is used in place of ink sacs as dye in all recipes.
Minecraft:Sweet berries	File:Sweet Berries JE1 BE1.png	Sweet berries can be harvested from Minecraft:sweet berry bushes. Additionally sweet berries can be found in taiga village house chests.	Sweet berries give Template:Hunger hunger points when eaten. Sweet berries can be Template:Control on grass blocks, dirt, podzol, coarse dirt, and farmland to plant a sweet berry bush sapling. Sweet berries are used to breed Minecraft:foxes.
Minecraft:Spawn egg (Illager beast/Minecraft:Wandering trader)	Template:Animate	Can be obtained only via creative inventory.	Has the same function as other Minecraft:spawn egg. Available through Experimental Gameplay.

Structures

Minecraft:Pillager outpost

Can generate in any biome a village can generate in.

The structure contains one chest at the top.

Minecraft:Pillagers Minecraft:Iron golems

Can have a combination of smaller structures surrounding it, these structures include a cage, targets, logs, and a tent. Generate with black banners, instead of illager banners. Available through Experimental Gameplay.
