Template:Infobox guide This guide is a simplified overview of all the changes in the Minecraft:Update Aquatic (Phase Two) (Template:BE 1.5.x releases), which assumes at least some familiarity with the Update Aquatic (Phase One) (Bedrock Edition 1.4.x releases).

Mobs

New

Minecraft:Turtle

Any beaches except for cold beaches

Template:Xp (when killed by a Minecraft:player or tamed Minecraft:wolf)

Turtles can be bred with Minecraft:seagrass. After mating, one turtle travels back to its home beach to lay its eggs, regardless of the distance.
Baby turtles drop one scute when they grow into an adult.

Changed

Minecraft:Undead mobs		Now sink in water and can walk on the bottom.
Minecraft:Dolphin	File:Dolphin.png	Can now be given Minecraft:raw cod or Minecraft:raw salmon and will swim towards the nearest ocean ruins or shipwreck.
Minecraft:Drowned	File:Drowned.png	Now have a chance to spawn with a nautilus shell. Are no longer only available through Minecraft:experimental gameplay.
Minecraft:Husk, Minecraft:zombie	Template:Animate	If the husks are sunk in water, they can now transform into zombies and then into drowned.
Minecraft:Skeleton horse	File:Skeleton Horse 17w45a.png	Can now be ridden underwater.
Minecraft:Skeleton, Minecraft:stray	Template:Animate	Will now switch from ranged to melee attacks while underwater and switch back when out of water.

Minecraft:Conduit	File:Conduit.png	Template:Crafting	Any	Conduits give the Minecraft:conduit power status effect when powered.
Minecraft:Turtle eggs	Template:Animate Template:Verify	Can be obtained by breeding two Minecraft:turtles	Any (only drops with Minecraft:Silk Touch)	Can be used as a decorative block. Hatches into baby turtles.
Minecraft:Bubble column	File:Bubble Column JE1 BE1.png	Created by magma blocks and soul sand placed underwater.	N/A	Bubble columns produced by magma blocks pull entities downwards. Bubble columns produced by soul sand push entities upwards.

Minecraft:Blue ice	File:Blue Ice JE1 BE1.png	Is now more slippery.
Minecraft:Corals	Template:Animate	No longer die as long as one side is touching water.
Minecraft:Kelp	File:Kelp.gif	Updated the top texture of kelp.

Items

New

Scute	84px	Dropped by baby Minecraft:turtles when growing into an adult.	Can be used to craft a Minecraft:turtle shell.
Minecraft:Turtle shell	84px	Template:Crafting	Can be worn as a helm, provides ten seconds of Minecraft:water breathing while the player is out of water or in a Minecraft:bubble column, which starts counting down when the player goeset. When worn underwater. Can be brewed into Minecraft:potion of the turtle master.
Turtle Minecraft:spawn egg	File:Turtle Spawn Egg JE1 BE1.png	Obtained from the creative inventory.	Can be used to spawn the respective mob.
