Template:Infobox guide This guide is a simplified overview of all the changes in the Overworld Update (Bedrock Edition 0.14.x releases), which assumes at least some familiarity with Bedrock Edition 0.13.x releases.

Mobs

  • Witches can be generated in places where the Lightness level is less than or equal to 7.
  • Minecraft:Villagers located within 3 blocks of Lightning will turn into witches.

  • Use new sounds.
  • There is a chance that the potion in hand will be dropped when killed by the player.

  • More diverse occupations.

  • The detection range for players wearing the corresponding creature's Minecraft:head is adjusted to 50% of the normal range.
  • Became taller (1.99 blocks higher instead of 1.95 blocks).

Trapped chest File:Trapped Large Chest.gif Two trapped chests placed side by side will now turn into a large trapped chest. Can be destroyed with any tool or with bare hands, but an ax is the fastest. Can be used as an item container to store items or as a redstone component.

Can be broken with any tool and drop itself. Used to place items or blocks in it for display.
Minecraft:Cauldron File:Cauldron BE1.png Each swamp hut will generate an empty cauldron, and the generated cauldron will be filled with a random potion or splash potion.

  • Can fill buckets with full cauldrons.
  • Adds dye to dye the internal water.
    • Colors can be mixed.
  • Can dye items (such as leather armor).
  • Can use water bottle to add water to Minecraft:cauldron.
  • Can store potions.
    • The potion will make an explosive sound when mixed, but will not explode.
