Minecraft:Java Edition Beta 1.9 Prerelease 4

Template:Infobox version Beta 1.9 Prerelease 4 is the fourth pre-release for Minecraft:Java Edition 1.0.0, released on October 13, 2011.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref> It adds Minecraft:the End dimension, the Minecraft:ender dragon, and Minecraft:moon phases. It also completes the Minecraft:enchanting mechanics, changes fluid placement using Minecraft:buckets, and fixes some bugs.

This version was reuploaded to fix the version number not being updated from the previous pre-release, and the server was reuploaded twice.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref><ref>Template:Tweet</ref>

World generation

Fixes

5 bugs fixed

• Enchanting is now server-side instead of being only a client-side change.
• Fixed Template:Key + click crash bug with enchantment tables and Minecraft:brewing stands.
• Critical hits now appear in Minecraft:multiplayer.
• Glass towers stretching to the top of the map no longer appear over strongholds.
• Fixed all Minecraft:minecart with furnace bugs, except the lighting bug.
