About

Jeb joined Mojang on December 1, 2010, as a game developer.<ref name="intro">Template:Tumblr</ref> Starting out as a back-end developer for Minecraft:Scrolls, Jeb became increasingly involved in the development of Minecraft, implementing features like Minecraft:wolves, Minecraft:pistons, and map structures (Minecraft:villages, Minecraft:strongholds and Minecraft:nether fortresses). Jeb later took the lead position in Minecraft development in December 2011 when Minecraft:Markus Persson stepped down.<ref>Template:Tumblr</ref><ref>Template:Tweet</ref> On December 12, 2012, he announced that he would also take the lead of Minecraft:Pocket Edition.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref> Jeb used the Minecraft Wiki as Jeb mojang,<ref>Template:Tweet</ref><ref name="wiki name" group="note" /> where he was particularly active in the issue lists, which he sanctioned as the official place to report and discuss Minecraft bugs and annoyances before the introduction of the official Minecraft:bug tracker. Jens Bergensten was born in Template:W, Template:W.

On May 11, 2013, Jeb married Jenny Bergensten (née Thornell), a photographer.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref> They had a son (Björn Bergensten) on December 10, 2015.<ref>Template:Tweet</ref>
