Minecraft:Smooth Stone Slab

Template:Infobox block A smooth stone slab is a decorative Minecraft:slab variant of Minecraft:smooth stone that generates in overworld Minecraft:structures and is used for building.

Obtaining

Breaking

Smooth stone slabs can be mined using any Minecraft:pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, they drop nothing.

Natural generation

Smooth stone slabs can generate as part of Minecraft:strongholds and Minecraft:plains, Minecraft:savanna, Minecraft:taiga, and Minecraft:snowy tundra Minecraft:villages. Smooth stone slabs can also generate in Minecraft:woodland mansions, some Minecraft:Overworld Minecraft:ruined portals, and in Minecraft:trail ruins.

Usage

Note blocks

Smooth stone slabs can be placed under Minecraft:note blocks to produce "bass drum" sounds.

Sounds

Template:IN, when a smooth stone slab is combined into a double slab, the block's use sound is played.<ref>Template:Bug</ref>
