Special mines are mines that spawn every fifth mine, exclusive to Minecraft:25w14craftmine. Leaving any special mine through an exit portal will grant the A Challenger Approaches advancement. These mines have the unique property that completion always grants a Minecraft:shimmering key, as opposed to the 1 in 10 chance for other mines.
