Dragonwilds:Shadow Crossbow/Upstream

The Shadow Crossbow is a Dragonwilds:Power level 6 crossbow, that can be crafted when finding and studying the Dragonwilds:vestige Dragonwilds:Sinister Mechanism, which can be found in chests in and around Dragonwilds:Dowdun Reach or purchased from Postie Pete's Evil Emporium for 300 Infernal Fragments. Its special attack deals increased damage to weak points at the cost of having a slower fire rate.

Climb the turrets of Dowdun Reach in its prime and you would have found the Black Knight Snipers. These were the elite marskmen of the Black Knights tasked with looking outward while everyone else was looking inward. They would scan the skyline for threats - for the beating wings of a dragon. There was no greater trophy for the Black Snipers.

On one occasion, a bolt was loosed at Imaru. She has traveled to the keep on a diplomatic mission, and was rewards with a bolt to the neck. You could see the conflict within her as she swallowed her urges. For a second, a disdainful eye moved to the Black Sniper. But she reset and continued to talk to Lord Rasmodel and Alric like nothing had happened.

Restraint was certainly beaten into the Black Snipers that night.
