Minecraft:Entity format/Entity

From SAS Gaming Wiki
    • Template:Nbt: How much air the entity has, in game ticks. Decreases when unable to breathe (except suffocating in a block). Increases when it can breathe. Template:Nbt being <= -20 game ticks (while still unable to breathe) on a given game tick causes the entity to immediately lose 1 health to Minecraft:drowning damage. This resets Template:Nbt to 0 game ticks. Most mobs can have a maximum of Template:Convert of Template:Nbt, while dolphins can reach up to Template:Convert, and axolotls have Template:Convert.
    • Template:NbtTemplate:NbtTemplate:Nbt: The custom name Minecraft:text component of this entity. Appears in player death messages and villager trading interfaces, as well as above the entity when the player's cursor is over it. May be empty or not exist. Represents the Template:DCL component.
    • Template:Nbt: Template:Nbt boolean - if true, and this entity has a custom name, the name always appears above the entity, regardless of where the cursor points. If the entity does not have a custom name, a default name is shown. May not exist.
    • Template:Nbt: Optional arbitrary NBT data. Is removed if empty. Represents the Template:DCL component.
    • Template:Nbt: Distance the entity has fallen. Larger values cause more damage when the entity lands.
    • Template:Nbt: Number of game ticks until the fire is put out. Negative values reflect how long the entity can stand in fire before burning. Default to -20 when not on fire.
    • Template:Nbt: Template:Nbt boolean - if true, the entity has a glowing outline.
    • Template:Nbt: Template:Nbt boolean - if true, the entity visually appears on fire, even if it is not actually on fire.
    • Template:Nbt: Namespaced ID of the entity's entity type. Does not exist for entities in the world, only stored entities (such as in Minecraft:data components).
    • Template:Nbt: Template:Nbt boolean - if true, the entity should not take damage. This applies to living and nonliving entities alike: mobs should not take damage from any source (including potion effects), and cannot be moved by fishing rods, attacks, explosions, or projectiles, and objects such as vehicles and item frames cannot be destroyed unless their supports are removed. Invulnerable player entities are also ignored by any hostile mobs. Note that these entities can be damaged by players in Creative mode.
    • Template:Nbt:Template:Upcoming Optional, removed if zero or less. When greater than zero, the entity is invulnerable for that many ticks. This behaves the same as setting Template:Nbt to Template:Cd, and the two fields can be enabled or disabled independently. The entity is invulnerable when either Template:Nbt is Template:Cd, Template:Nbt is positive, or both. Decreases by one every tick. When a Minecraft:cushion is struck by lightning, the dropped item has this set to Template:Convert. When a Minecraft:skeleton trap is triggered, the three newly spawned Minecraft:skeletons and Minecraft:skeleton horses have this set to Template:Convert.
    • Template:Nbt: List of 3 Template:Nbt doubles describing the current Template:Cd velocity of the entity in meters per game tick. Only allows between 10.0 and -10.0 (inclusive), else resets to 0.
    • Template:Nbt: Template:Nbt boolean - if true, the entity does not fall down naturally. Does not exist if set to false. Set to true by striders in lava.
    • Template:Nbt: Template:Nbt boolean - if true, the entity is touching the ground.
    • Template:Nbt: The data of the entities that are riding this entity.
      • Template:Nbt: The same as this format (recursive). Note that each passenger entity, and the ridden entity (the vehicle) have equal control of the movement of the ridden entity. The topmost entity controls spawning conditions when the vehicle entity is created by a mob spawner.
    • Template:Nbt: The number of game ticks before which the entity may be teleported back through a nether portal. Initially starts at Template:Convert after teleportation and counts down to 0.
    • Template:Nbt: List of 3 Template:Nbt doubles describing the current X, Y, and Z position (Minecraft:coordinates) of the entity.
    • Template:Nbt: List of 2 Template:Nbt floats representing the entity's server-side rotation (facing direction). This does not necessarily match with the direction that the mob is looking in on the client's side. The yaw and pitch are stored inverted for most projectile entities.
      • Template:Nbt: The entity's yaw. Yaw is rotation about the Y axis. It is measured in degrees and ranges from -180 to +180. The yaw increases as the entity turns clockwise (right from their perspective). A yaw of 0 means the entity is facing south. See table of specific values here: Rotation (yaw).
      • Template:Nbt: The entity's pitch. Pitch is rotation about the local X axis after yaw is applied. It is measured in degrees and ranges from -90 to +90. A pitch of 0 means the entity is facing parallel to the ground or directly towards the horizon. The pitch increases as the entity looks downwards, so a pitch of 90 is facing directly down and a pitch of -90 facing directly up.
    • Template:Nbt: Template:Nbt boolean - if true, this entity is silenced. May not exist.
    • Template:Nbt: List of scoreboard tags of this entity. It is not preserved if it is removed.
    • Template:Nbt: Optional. How many game ticks the entity has been freezing. Although this tag is defined for all entities, it is actually only used by Minecraft:mobs that are not in the freeze_immune_entity_types Minecraft:entity type tag. Increases while in Minecraft:powder snow, even partially, up to a maximum of Template:Convert, and decreases at double speed while not in powder snow.
    • Template:Nbt: This entity's Minecraft:Universally Unique IDentifier. The 128-bit UUID is stored as four 32-bit integers (Template:Nbt), ordered from most to least significant.
