Template:Planned Template:Infobox entity A frozen zombie,<ref>Template:Mcnet</ref> referred to as "The Frozen" by one of the developers at Minecraft LIVE,<ref>Template:Ytl @ 05:54s</ref> is a variant of the Minecraft:zombie that spawns in snowy Minecraft:biomes.<ref>Template:Ytl</ref> Its melee attacks apply Minecraft:Freezing, and it can sometimes spawn holding Minecraft:ice balls which are thrown as a ranged attack.
Spawning
Frozen zombies spawn in snowy biomes, such as Minecraft:ice spikes and Minecraft:ice caves.
Drops
Frozen zombies drop Minecraft:rotten flesh when killed. If holding an Minecraft:ice ball, the frozen zombie will have a chance to drop it when killed, though this chance is unknown.
Behavior
Frozen zombies primarily attack via melee, which will apply the Minecraft:Freezing effect to their target.
They sometimes spawn holding Minecraft:ice balls and throw them as a ranged attack. They throw ice balls while moving towards their target.
