Minecraft:Java Edition music update

The Music update was an update for Minecraft:Java Edition that added 17 new Minecraft:music tracks by Minecraft composer Minecraft:C418, released on November 15, 2013.<ref name="release" /> 16 tracks had been previously released on the album Minecraft:Minecraft - Volume Beta, and the 17th was a new original piece.

Additions

• Four tracks that play at the title screen: "Minecraft:Mutation", "Minecraft:Moog City 2", "Minecraft:Beginning 2", and "Minecraft:Floating Trees".Template:Note
• Six tracks that play in Minecraft:Creative mode: "Minecraft:Biome Fest", "Minecraft:Blind Spots", "Minecraft:Haunt Muskie", "Minecraft:Aria Math", "Minecraft:Dreiton", and "Minecraft:Taswell".Template:Note
• Four tracks that play in Minecraft:the Nether: "Minecraft:Concrete Halls", "Minecraft:Dead Voxel", "Minecraft:Warmth", and "Minecraft:Ballad of the Cats".Template:Note
• One track that plays in Minecraft:the End: "The End".Template:Note
• One track that plays during the credits: "Alpha".Template:Note
• One track that plays during the fight with the ender dragon: "Boss".

Trivia

• Minecraft:Xbox 360 Edition received "Minecraft:Concrete Halls", "Minecraft:Dead Voxel", and "Boss" in Minecraft:TU9 and "Minecraft:Warmth", "Minecraft:Ballad of the Cats", and "The End" in Minecraft:TU13. Both of these updates predate the release of Minecraft:Minecraft - Volume Beta and this update, making it the first edition to have music for the Nether and End.
