Jungles generate in semi-warm temperature areas and high humidity, bordering [[Minecraft:forest]]s, [[Minecraft:plain]]s, [[Minecraft:desert]]s, [[Minecraft:wooded badlands]], [[Minecraft:birch forest]]s, and [[Minecraft:dark forest]]s. Regular jungles are often separated from [[Minecraft:sparse jungle]]s or [[Minecraft:bamboo jungle]]s by [[Minecraft:river]]s.

When temperature decreases, they often border [[Minecraft:birch forest]]s, [[Minecraft:dark forest]]s, and [[Minecraft:forest]]s, and near higher temperatures they usually border [[Minecraft:desert]]s and [[Minecraft:wooded badlands]].

Jungles can generate in any type of terrain, bordering [[Minecraft:mangrove swamp]]s and [[Minecraft:windswept savanna]]s at high erosion, or [[Minecraft:mountain]] peaks in low erosion or far inland. Mountains in jungles always consist of [[Minecraft:stony peaks]], often separated by forests on the slopes.
As they generate in warmer climates, they may border [[Minecraft:mangrove swamp]]s or [[Minecraft:lukewarm ocean]]s. Forests often form the slopes of terrain that rises to [[Minecraft:stony peaks]], though jungles can also border stony peaks directly.

[[Minecraft:Lush caves]] are common underneath jungle biomes due to their high humidity.
Sparse jungles and bamboo jungles frequently border jungles, with a [[Minecraft:river]] often separating them.

[[Minecraft:Lush caves]] are common beneath jungles because of the high humidity. [[Minecraft:Dripstone caves]] are relatively common inland, while [[Minecraft:sulfur caves]] may generate where weirdness is low. The [[Minecraft:deep dark]] often generates where erosion is low, especially below slopes and near [[Minecraft:mountain]] peak biomes.

Template:For Template:Infobox biome The jungle is a lush Minecraft:biome with dense vegetation of Minecraft:jungle trees, Minecraft:oak trees, Minecraft:bamboo, and various smaller plants. Jungles generate in humid and warm areas, often next to Minecraft:forests, and their sparse and bamboo variants.

Generation

Jungles generate in semi-warm and high humidity climates, usually where weirdness is negative. They occupy a wide range of terrain, from vast flatlands to rugged hills and steep cliffs. When temperature decreases, they often border Minecraft:birch forests, Minecraft:dark forests, and Minecraft:forests, and near higher temperatures they usually border Minecraft:deserts and Minecraft:wooded badlands.

As they generate in warmer climates, they may border Minecraft:mangrove swamps or Minecraft:lukewarm oceans. Forests often form the slopes of terrain that rises to Minecraft:stony peaks, though jungles can also border stony peaks directly.

Sparse jungles and bamboo jungles frequently border jungles, with a Minecraft:river often separating them.

Minecraft:Lush caves are common beneath jungles because of the high humidity. Minecraft:Dripstone caves are relatively common inland, while Minecraft:sulfur caves may generate where weirdness is low. The Minecraft:deep dark often generates where erosion is low, especially below slopes and near Minecraft:mountain peak biomes.

Description

Jungles contain many types of vegetation densely packed together. Tall 2×2 Minecraft:jungle trees are common with many branches and Minecraft:vines, growing over 30 blocks in height. Small jungle trees with Minecraft:cocoa beans or the even smaller Minecraft:jungle bushes generate on the ground, together with Minecraft:oaks that are more commonly large.

The lush green grass is vegetated by Minecraft:ferns and vines everywhere. Minecraft:Melon patches are exclusive to jungle biomes, and they generate somewhat more often than Minecraft:pumpkin patches do in other biomes. Single Minecraft:bamboo plants are scattered in the jungle. Minecraft:Dandelions and Minecraft:poppies are twice as common as in most other biomes.

Minecraft:Parrots, Minecraft:ocelots, and Minecraft:pandas exclusively spawn in jungle biomes, together with warm Minecraft:animal variants.

Minecraft:Jungle pyramids may generate exclusively here. As these temples are partially made of Minecraft:mossy cobblestone and also covered in Minecraft:vines, they can prove hard to spot from a distance due to the density of the trees.

Template:IN, Minecraft:cod and Minecraft:salmon are the only fish which may be caught when Minecraft:fishing in jungles. Otherwise, Minecraft:bamboo and Minecraft:cocoa beansTemplate:Only can also be collected.

With Minecraft:Vibrant Visuals, jungles use a strong humid volumetric fog setting, which fades the distance in an orange tint. Jungles use warmish and color grading, which makes the biome look more humid and warm. The night sky is slightly brighter and moonlight colored more vibrant blue.
