Dragonwilds:Elidinis

Elidinis is the Menaphite goddess of Fertility and Growth, and is heavily associated with the Template:RSL and the moon. She is the mother of Dragonwilds:Icthlarin and Template:RSL. She is mentioned in Dragonwilds:Icthlarin's Little Helper, called the River Goddess, River Mother and Goddess of the River. According to Dragonwilds:Lehran - The Archaeologist, Elidinis is said to be a Garou, but older scrolls said she appeared human.

History

Second Age

Elidinis was a human mortal who lived within the Template:RSL in the early Dragonwilds:Second Age. It is not entirely known how she ascended, but legend suggests that she had ascended through the power of the Dragonwilds:Moonstone, gems known to be located mostly within the mainland and the Template:RSL. On her ascension, she had gained followers that would be blessed by her through rituals. She would be seen as the goddess of the moon and eventually of the river by her early followers. Sometime during her years as a goddess, she had met Template:RSL, another god who would be associated to the sun by his early followers. The two together shared a bond that they would eventually wedlock.

During the Second Age of Dragonwilds:Gielinor, Elidinis would rule over the desert along side her husband. While the two ruled over the desert, they would attempt to start a family together. At first, they could not, as divinity seemed to have prevented them from reproducing. However, they soon decided to try something else. Using their pets, Icthlarin and Amascut, they would pour some of their energy into them turning them into demigods, granting them the ability to speak, think and even be in the status of divinity. With this newfound family, more were created by Tumeken, forming the Template:RSL.

Sometime during the second age, a war has broke out against the Template:RSL, starting the Template:RSL. The war had continued for years and ended when Tumeken had blew himself up to punish the Template:RSL traitors. This caused a fracture within the desert pantheon, as well as turning the region into a vast sandy wasteland. Elidinis went into hiding shortly after, where her followers would try and act on her behalf.

God Wars

Sometime during the Template:RSL of the Dragonwilds:Third Age, Elidinis had continued to remain hidden from her followers, even though legends suggests that she had allied with Saradomin during the war at one point. At an unknown time, she had arrived in Ashenfall, and remained hidden within Dragonwilds:Umbral Sands until she was discovered by the Moon Garou, who she saw needed their help after their previous goddess, Dragonwilds:Lougrim, they were forced to live in a new region, one they had no knowledge of. Elidinis would help them, teaching them architecture and Agriculture. She also bestowed mirrors to protect them from supernatural threats She even adopted a child, Dragonwilds:Kyter, after he was left orphaned by a cruel sandstorm. After helping them build their civilisation, she gifted Kyter a bow imbued by her magic the goddess left Gielinor and wandered the cosmos.

Legacy

After her departure, the moon garou would continue to worship and practice what she taught them, even up to the Dragonwilds:Sixth Age, where most of her history and information were changed to fit a more modern narrative. Several garou history were changed to have her name spelt differently as well as her being a garou, not a human. Thankfully, with the help of the Adventurer(s), the ancient scrolls containing teh truth were found.
