Dragonwilds:Gods

Template:External Gods and goddesses are beings from various races who have ascended beyond mortality, gaining immense power, typically through either slaying another god, prolonged exposure to an Template:RSL. These artefacts, created by the Elder Gods, are objects of unparalleled potency. While most younger gods wield formidable magic, excel in combat, and achieve feats beyond mortal comprehension, the Elder Gods surpass them significantly, possessing the power to create sentient life and entire worlds.

Elder Gods

The Dragonwilds:Elder Gods are the creators of not only Dragonwilds:Gielinor, but the universe itself. Right after creating Gielinor, they noticed some "impure" anima being formed, disliking the taste. To avoid them, they directed the unwanted anima towards Dragonwilds:Ashenfall, ensuring their eggs received the right anima nutrition while they slept. Sometime after the arrival of the Dragonwilds:Dragonkin, Template:RSL the eldest of the Elders, have awakened and cursed the Dragonkin, after one of them attempted to create a device generated a Template:RSL, one that threatened their eggs. During the Dragonwilds:Sixth Age of Gielinor, the Elders went to war with the mortals of Gielinor for stealing their eggs in order to prevent them from hatching and destroying all life. Thankfully the mortals had won, with the Elders no longer being a threat.

Young Gods

Guthix

Dragonwilds:Guthix was the god of balance and was one of the early founders of Gielinor, aside from the Dragonkin and Elder Gods. Like the rest of Gielinor, Guthix had explored Ashenfall, and discovered the land's unique anima and magical purpose. It was here that Guthix had experimented and studied the rune essences and how they could be turned into a stone that stored elemental magic. Guthix would disappear from the public eyes sometime during the Dragonwilds:First Age of Gielinor, after attempting to hide Ashenfall from the world, due to some of his followers horrible deed there. After years of hiding, Guthix would appear once more after during the Template:RSL, where he would cast his Edicts, a barrier to prevent the gods from physically influencing their followers.

After banishing most of the god that were deemed too powerful or dangerous, Guthix would vanish once more, only to killed by Sliske thousands of years later, in the end of the Dragonwilds:Fifth Age, where he would appoint his final Guardian, the World Guardian. In the Sixth Age, Guthix's ideal would remain strong, and his final guardian would achieve the god's goal, with allies, they created an edict of their own, banishing the gods from Gielinor, and leaving the world to the hands of mortals once more.

Saradomin

Dragonwilds:Saradomin is the god of order, the most popular deity on Gielinor, mostly amongst the humans. He is known to preach tradition, education and righteousnessTemplate:CiteJournal, granting him the title god of wisdom as well. Saradomin himself arrived during Gielinor's Dragonwilds:Second Age, along with other deities and gathered followers, as well as bringing some from other planes. He was active during the Gods War, during the Dragonwilds:Third Age, fighting against ZamorakTemplate:CiteJournal. Some of his followers had settled within Ashenfall, and allied themselves with Bandos and his goblins to fight against the garou. After Guthix woken up and banished the gods from Gielinor, Saradomin's followers remained strong and continued to grow over time.Template:CiteJournal During the Sixth age of Gielinor, After Guthix's demise, Saradomin had returned and fought against Zamorak once more. Even after defeating the lord of chaos, the two deity would always be in some conflict with one another. Despite being banished by the new edict, Saradonin's church continues to monitor the kingdom and its citizens.

Zamorak

Dragonwilds:Zamorak is the god of chaos, often associated with evil, although more complicated than that. Zamorak promotes freedom and self-improvement, rather than relaying on tradition. This ideal has him in constant conflict with Saradomin. During Gielinor Second Age, he was a mortal, a Mahjarrat from a world known as Freneskae. Him, along with some of the Mahjarrat would follow the Empty Lord Zaros. After eons of servitude, Zamorak grew tired of Zaros' rule, and with his own followers, rebelled against the Empty Lord. Zamorak used two elder artefact and managed to overthrow Zaros, seemingly killing him and claiming godhood themselves. During the Third Age, the God Wars era, Zamorak would attempt to reclaim one of the artefact he used to overthrow empty lord, this had him in war against Saradomin, and some other deities. Through the years, an alliance was formed by Saradomin, Armadyl and Bandos, forcing Zamorak to use the artefact in a desperate situation, causing the destruction of an entire region. This act woke Guthix, who banished him and the rest of the waring gods.

After Guthix's death in the Sixth Age, Zamorak returned along with other gods. Years after his return, he attempted to rule over Gielinor, only to be defeated by the World Guardian who created their own edicts to evict them and the gods. Even though he is banished, Zamorak is attempting to find a way to return to Gielinor.Template:CiteJournal

Armadyl

Dragonwilds:Armadyl is the aviansie god of Justice who, despite being the one of the youngest god, and naïve to some, has a devoted following due to the care he has for his people. Like most of the gods, he arrived to Gielinor in the second age, with his followers making it to Ashenfall as well. They had taken part of the God Wars, assisting Saradomin and Bandos in the war against Zamorak, having his followers miss the dragon conflict, as Armadyl and all of his followers headed towards the mainland to confront Zamorak with the rest of the alliance and their armies. Template:CiteJournal It was here that Armadyl would face his greatest loss, Zamorak would use one of the artefact he had and lay waste to the region, causing thousands of Aviansie, even his husband to be reduced to ash.Template:CiteJournal

After being evicted by Guthix, Armadyl wondered the cosmos, believing him to be the last of his people, he soon had a new mindset, a more peaceful approach first, fighting only when needed. Sometime after, he learned that there were some Aviansie still alive back in their home plane, and only brought a handful of them back to Gielinor in the Sixth age, after Guthix's demise. After he returned, he went and fought against Bandos when he saw the God of War crafting a weapon. Armadyl was victorious, killing the war god Template:CiteJournal. Like the other gods, Armadyl was evicted by the new Edicts, now with his people elsewhere.

Bandos

Dragonwilds:Bandos was the god of war, usually dubbed as the big high war god by his followersTemplate:CiteJournal. Unlike most of the gods, Bandos arrived on Gielinor only during the God Wars era, delighting in the death and destruction between entities as powerful as him. Sometime during the war, Saradominist in Ashenfall has agreed to an alliance with the war god, against the garou and their goddess, Lougrim. Although the battle was nearly won, Bandos arrogance got the best of him, where he was nearly killed, forcing him to retreat, leaving behind his followers and the Saradominsits. During the end of the God Wars, Bandos aligned himself with Saradomin and Armadyl, in order to finally bring Zamorak to an end, but the lord of chaos had other plans.

After Zamorak destruction, Guthix had awaken and banished the gods, even Bandos. Despite his banishment, Bandos attempted to return once, only for his plan to be foiled. After Guthix's death in the Sixth age, Bandos returned, and soon was at war with Armadyl, who ultimately defeated the war god, killing him. Despite his death, Bandos' followers continue to uphold his belief. Template:CiteJournal

Lougrim

Dragonwilds:Lougrim was the garou goddess of the moon and the primordial hunt. According to garou legend, she is from another world, that is described to be cold and silent, having left her world after a portal had opened by a weeping god, using this opportunity to travel outside of her home world. She visits the garou's world, Dragonwilds:Antumnos, uniting all of tribe by defeating all of their kings, She would become their High Queen and the goddess of the hunt. Arriving to Gielinor, she settled with her followers within Ashenfall, ruling over the garou for years. At some point during the Third age, the garou would start fighting against the humans, who would soon have an alliance with Bandos. This forced the Goddess to search for new allies, the Dragonkin. With their help, the tides of the war was turned, with Bandos retreating due to an embarrassing loss. With the garou victory, Lougrim spared the humans and goblins, enforcing a law, that no human should pass the whispering swamp, and the same went for the garou.

Although she maintained this peace, she would not hold it for long, as the dragons that were given to her to help fight against Bandos would rebel against their master. Their leader, Kuldra would fight against the goddess, defeating her and devouring her, claiming the title of High Queen. Although dead, there is legend of a Silver dire wolf, where it is believed by some of the garou to be the goddess reincarnated, rebuilding her power before challenging Kuldra again.Template:CiteJournal

Brassica Prime

Brassica Prime is the god of Cabbages. While it is unknown how such a god exists, his existence is not denied. He had taught the early settlers of Gielinor how to cook the vegetables after gifting it to them. He ensure they learn the importance of nutrition as well. According to legends, Brassica Prime was found on Ashenfall by Guthix, when the god of balance was exploring the region. Learning that he was the lord of all vegetables, and keeper of the ancient secrets of a balanced diet, Guthix saw some kinship between the two, and spoke through the night about magic, divinity and food. Legends of the god changes every night, offering new excuses for his divinity and lessons on how he had supposedly shaped creation itself.

Worshipped/Claimed Godhood

Queen Kuldra

Queen Dragonwilds:Kuldra, also known as the God Eater, is the current High Queen of the garou. She was created by the dragonkin with the assistance of Lougrim, an deal made from when the garou war against the humans was won. Seeing how her children, and fellow dragons were being mistreated, Kuldra plotted against her masters. After recruiting the rest of the dragons before her, she, with her children, would ignite the Dragonwilds:Dragon Rebellion. Using her power, which she stole from Dragonwilds:Brakka, and other Dragonkins, she fought Lougrim and devoured the goddess, earning her the title God Eater. She would then order her dragons to fly towards the human settlements to rid of them all. Over the years, humans slowly died out from the onslaught, leaving ashen fall to be ruled by her, and her alone, while the garou and the Goblin were spared.

Velgar

General Dragonwilds:Velgar is one of Kuldra's trusted general during the Dragon Rebellion. Being the first, aside her children to agree to Kuldra's plan. He is known as the Big High War God to the goblins of Ashenfall after they witnessed their former god retreat from defeat.

Brakka

Dragonwilds:Brakka is a dragonkin, a member of the Dragonwilds:Cabal, who claimed to feel like a god when he was able to command dominion over the elemental earth.Template:CiteJournal

Trivia

• In Template:RSL, it is possible for there to be mortals that are capable to be as strong as a god without being a god themselves. This reason is why certain NPCs, such as Template:RSL was evicted from Gielinor during the quest Template:RSL. But, it is possible for mortals to still defeat gods, and even kill them without being in the same power level.
  • An example of this is Kuldra who, despite being infused with Lougrim's divine blood and devouring the goddess, was not evicted by the Template:RSL, due to not being labeled as powerful as a god.
